Yes — to use the Ziina payment gateway on your WooCommerce website, you must have:
An active WordPress site
The WooCommerce plugin installed
A Ziina Business account and API key
How to connect Ziina to your WooCommerce store:
1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
This requires an active WordPress site with admin access.
2. Install the Ziina plugin
You can install it either by:
• Searching for “Ziina” under Plugins → Add New and clicking Install Now, OR
• Uploading a .zip version of the plugin if provided by your onboarding team.
3. Activate the plugin
Click Activate after installation.
4. Go to WooCommerce → Settings
Make sure WooCommerce is installed and visible in the sidebar.
5. Open the Payments tab
Select Payments at the top of the settings page.
6. Enable Ziina
Turn on the toggle next to Ziina in the payment options list.
7. Enter your API key
Paste the API key you got from Ziina onboarding into the field labelled API key.
Click on this link, select WooCommerce and enter your phone number, OTP and email. You will immediately get access to your API key. This is the only time you’ll see it, so make sure you store it somewhere safe. If you don’t already have a Ziina account your integration won’t work until you download the app and complete your onboarding process (it takes 4 minutes).
8. Optional: customize Title/Description
You can also change the Title and Description of the Ziina payment option. The title you enter is what appears on your website for your customers. Let them know they can use this payment option to pay by credit/debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
9. Save changes
Click Save Changes — Ziina is now connected.
