Ziina offers multiple ways to accept payments, whether you’re getting paid remotely or in person. You can choose the option that best fits your workflow and share it with your customer in just a few steps.

You can accept a payment using any of the following methods:

  • Tap to Pay (only in person for business accounts)
Accept contactless payments directly on your phone.

    • iPhone Xs or newer

    • Android phones with NFC enabled

  • QR code (business accounts)
Go to Get Paid in the app and tap the QR code icon to show your QR code. You can show it to your customer in person or send it to them, just like a payment link. The customer scans the QR code or taps their phone on the NFC card to open the payment page and complete the payment.

  • Payment link
Open the Ziina app and go to the Get Paid tab. You’ll find your personalized payment link (for example, pay.ziina.com/yourname), which you can share through any messaging app. Customers can pay using a card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

  • ZiiBoard (via messaging apps)
ZiiBoard lets you create and share payment links directly from your keyboard while chatting with customers. Simply switch to ZiiBoard, enter the payment amount, and share the link instantly in any messaging app. Customers can complete the payment using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a card.

  • Payment gateway / Custom API (business accounts)

If you have a business account and need a more integrated setup, you can accept payments through Ziina’s payment gateway or custom API. This allows you to accept payments directly on your website or app.

Fees for accepting payments (business accounts)
For business accounts, the standard fee to accept payments is 2.6% + AED 1 per transaction.

For payments made using international cards and/or in a non-AED currency, an additional 1.5% per transaction applies.

Having trouble accepting a payment?
If you’re having issues with a specific payment method, try switching to another option directly in the app. For example, if a payment link isn’t working as expected, you can share your QR code instead, create an invoice, or use Tap to Pay if you’re with the customer in person.

If the issue happens with Tap to Pay, make sure your device supports contactless payments and that NFC is enabled. Closing and reopening the app can also help.

If the issue continues after trying another payment method, please share a screen recording showing what happens when you try to accept the payment. This will help our team understand the issue and investigate it more effectively.
